The purpose of Servant's Heart is to provide opportunities for people to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ and to impact our community and the world with His love!

Love God. Love One Another. Serve The World.

We follow Jesus' example of serving those who are vulnerable in our society using the gifts and talents we’ve been given. Jesus said, "Your attitude must be like my own. I did not come to be served, but to serve." Matthew 20:28 (The Living Bible) We have monthly family friendly service opportunities. Examples are Something To Eat, Grocery Giveaway, Laundry Love, Alpha Center, NightWatch, Kenya Mission Trip and more! For ongoing opportunities to serve, see below or contact Kayla Schnider, Communications Director at 605-361-6718 x15.

Willing Wheels To Wellness

Transportation is a significant barrier in our community. Willing Wheels to Wellness helps to address this by providing rides to medical appointments for people who don’t have viable options. Imagine... Having one car and needing to get to an appointment, but your spouse is using it for work. Or maybe, you just had a surgery that restricts you from driving and have no friends or family to drive you to your physical therapy. What if you lived too far from the bus stop to walk, or you lived outside of the bus limits? What if the cost of a taxi was not something that was not in your budget?

Safe Families For Children

Safe Families for Children helps families address some of the root causes of their crises. We open our hearts and homes to vulnerable families in our community who need a safe place for their children to stay while they remedy a temporary crisis. When attempting to make a difference in our community, it can be easy to focus on the immediate needs such as food, shelter, etc. without ever wanting to look deeper into the root causes that might take us out of our comfort zone. But by investing more time, patience & compassion, there’s a chance to make a longer-term impact. There are many ways to be a part of this ministry ranging from buying diapers, being a coach, to opening your home as a host family.
