Help your neighbors in need today by volunteering to distribute boxes and bags of food to those who need a little extra food assistance. This opportunity is located at Good News Church!
Responsibilities:
Volunteer duties may include:
Assist Feeding South Dakota by directing traffic
Registering guests receiving food using pen and paper or tablet computers
Greeting the public
Unloading pallets of food into vehicles and ensuring a friendly farewell
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
Volunteers must be 11 years or older for safety reasons. Volunteers under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
NOTE:
If you have been around anyone who has been sick or has been later diagnosed with COVID-19, have experienced any symptoms of illness in the last 14 days or are in a high-risk category, please stay home at this time. We will be happy to help schedule a future volunteer opportunity.
