A boy in a blue and black hoodie is holding a small clear plastic item, looking at it carefully. A girl wearing a navy shirt with a white and gold cat graphic is standing next to him, also looking at the objects on the table. The table has small plastic cups, colorful bracelets, and other small items. Part of a person wearing a red and white patterned shirt is visible on the left.

Our vision is to be a premier program with dedicated and professional staff who have a heart for sharing Christ. We will partner with families to reinforce Christian principles and teach through hands-on activities in a small group environment.

  • Our toddler program is for one and two-year-olds. They are split by age into two classrooms of up to ten children in each. We have a one-to-five staff-to-child ratio in each room.

Our curriculum includes hand-on activities that teach vocabulary, Bible Stories, fine motor skills, large motor skills, social skills, and some basic academic skills. We also work on potty training with the older children.

  • Our pre-school programs are for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds and are divided by age groups in separate classrooms. We have 10 children in a classroom with one teacher.

Our educational programs are organized into weekly themes and Bible stories. We use the SD Early Learning Guidelines and One In Christ Curriculum. The daily activities include Bible time as well as language development, number concepts, letter recognition, reading readiness, music, art, dramatic play, and large motor inside and/or outside.

We also have the Soccer Sprouts program to classes at Good News on a weekly basis. These programs are optional and are at an additional cost.

  • Our half day pre-school programs is a school experience for 3/4, and pre-K each in their own classroom. Half day pre-school runs September - May according to the school calendar.
